Shivshakti Education Society

About Us

Bhalki is situated 40 km from Bidar on the northern border of Karnataka. A rural area with a predominantly agrarian economy, Bhalki is greatly helped by the establishment of educational institutions. Bharath Khandre, a philanthropist who believes in socioeconomic empowerment through education, established Shivashakthi Education Society in 1989. Shivashakthi Education Society believes in rural upliftment through academic excellence.

Shivashakthi Education Society started SKS Kannada Medium School with classes 1-5, in 1992. More classes were added progressively and the school now has classes up to SSLC.

Consequent to the success of the Kannada Medium School, SKS CBSC English Medium School was started in the year 2003. The Kashappa Shivalingappa Khandre Memorial PU College was established in the year of 2014 with the aim of preparing students for higher education, with Science, Commerce and Arts sections.

The non-availability of trained Paramedical staff along North Karnataka motivated the members of Shivashakthi Education Society to establish Sri Kumar Swamiji Paramedical Degree College, offering DMLT (Diploma in Medical Lab Technology) and DHI (Diploma in Health Inspector).
